COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewing the perfect ale is truly a balancing act ... Hazardous work you might say. With Hop Hazard our challenge was to hand craft a malt rich base that could counterbalance a combustible five-hop blend and still leave your taste buds with enough room to enjoy a unique, dry-hopped finish.

Hazy amber, large fluffy white head. Aroma is clean and muted, some citrus, some caramel. Medium to high carbonation, medium bodied, soapy texture. Basic flavors, light grapefruit, some white pepper, light caramel malt. Maybe some corn or adjuncts. Crisp lagerish finish. Meh.

12 oz bottle from a variety pack. Pours slightly hazy-orange with a long lasting white head and a lot of lacing. Aroma is of caramel malt, some citrusy hops and ripe fruit. Body is full and very crisp. A lot of grapefruit hops balanced on the palate by caramel malt and ripe fruit. Finish is long lasting, dry, grapefruity. Nice APA

Bottled. Certainly not pale, pours more of a brownish amber. Hops aroma, pretty well balanced as advertised.

A little hoppier than I typically enjoy, but good flavor and only slight bitterness makes this better than most IPAs, but not as good for me as typical pale ales.

Tastes like a homebrewed pale ale. Aroma was roasted caramel and phenols. Pour was a cloudy medium orange with lots of small sediment and a one finger off white head. Taste was very sophomoric. Phenolic with a weak malt backbone with a soapy hoppiness. The hops are very weak and thin for a beer of this name. Nice carbonation. Very basic.
