Brewing the perfect ale is truly a balancing act ... Hazardous work you might say. With Hop Hazard our challenge was to hand craft a malt rich base that could counterbalance a combustible five-hop blend and still leave your taste buds with enough room to enjoy a unique, dry-hopped finish.

Pours a mildly hazy light coppor color with a 2 cm fine bubbly white head with frothy lacing. Aroma is of barley and hops. Start is promising with moderate hoppiness and a roasted flavor. Finish is almost lacking any aftertaste and tastes a little watery. Mouthfeel is a little watery and cetainly not "full-bodied". This beer is a disappointment because I was expecting lots of hops, instead I got moderate hops and certainly not full bodied. All in all, it's a decent beer, but it doesnt match its description.

Bottled. Pours a hazy copper (it’s unfiltered) with a big pillowy creamy white head. Aroma is excellent balance of hops and malts. Caramel, some burnt sugar. Flavor is also an awesome blaance. Burnt sugar sweetness on the front, with a hoppy finish. Very nice pale ale, despite its name, it is not overly hoppy. And it’s fresh tasting, which I like.

Sampled at the brewery. Great beer hop flavors but well balanced with the malt flavors. Nice and hazey looking.
