COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We mill the choicest two row barley malt in our 100 year old mill room for this all natural, non-pasteurized Irish Lager. Lightly hopped, fermented slowely. River Horse LAGeR gets plenty of quality time with us before we pass it on to you.

This is probably the best beer River Horse makes. That being said, there’s no head, no lacing, and not one bit of hop presence, although the malt flavor itself is quite sour. The latter seems to be a River Horse trademark. I guess it’s drinkable in a totally flat sort of way? Does anyone at River Horse know what the word carbonation means?

Eh, this isn’t a special lager, but its not a band one, not a big lager fan but I can appreciate a good one when I taste one. Try Paulaner Lager, that’s a good one.

Crapola. Pours a boring yellow with no head. Aroma is a bit sweet and tinny. Flavor is metallic and stale.

Sweet malt is noticable in the aroma.Pours a hazy light gold with a light white head.Very light malt with not a lot going on after that.Mouthfeel is very thin with a light malt finish.

Light malt and some honey in the aroma. Clear golden color with a medium palate. Taste is the same as the aroma with a faint bitterness. Easy to drink.

Unusual aroma and taste, and a bit briney/tart up front. Syrupy texture, stange mouth-feel. Wouldn’t try this one again.

Small head on a lighly golden body. Well balanced, lightly grainy & sweet up front. Medium carbonation.

It has an odd taste and it a bit bland....the notes are kind of off. I don’t like it or will drink it again.
