On tap at the Ginger Man. Pours a deep brown bordering on black with a medium sized dense tan head. Sweet oatmeal, chocolate, roast. Medium bodied, really nice roast over some caramel and oatmeal sweetness. Finishes up with a hint of that sweetness carrying over as it plays with a nice subtle roast bitterness.

Poured from bottle. Aroma of brownies and clove. Solid black, hearty tan head. Getting roasted malt, cocoa, banana, alcohol, clove, nut. Nice drinkability - more so as it warms. Creamy feel toward the end. Good stuff.

From a bottle poured dark brown with a good amount of head. Nice strong sweet toasted malty flavor with a lasting finish.

I donít care what the ingredient list says, I donít get how theyíre calling this a sweet stout. tap @ RnH: dark black pour, arouma of oats and coffee. Dark roasted malts backed by a nice hoppy kick. Creamy mouthfeel. finishes with some astringency. A simple, poorly constructed "sweet" stout thatís not really that sweet.

Nothing objectionable here, just not very good for this style. The aroma is roasty, oats. The appearance is deep brown, red hue, tan head, a little thin looking. The flavor is roasty, coffee, bitter dark chocolate, oats. The fin ish is sweet, and bittered by roasted malts. Medium/thin mouthfeel, watery. Decent and enjoyable, but too thin for this style.

12oz bottle. Small tan head atop brown-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, milk chocolate, some coffee, oat. Taste is moderately sweet, lactose, coffee, milk chocolate, roast, light oatmeal, faint earthy, cinnamon. Light-medium body, light acidity but fairly smooth. It doesnít stand out compared to others in the style, but itís still tasty.

bottle poured a black in color with a thin brown head. aroma has lactic chocolate, sweetness, light roast, and malts. mouth feel coats well and the carbonation is low. flavor gets bolder with the roasted malt, nuts, chocolate, lactic sweetness, and metallic bitterness on the finish.

(bottle - 12 oz) Dark black pour with a creamy tan head. Lightly roasted malts in the aroma along with some cocoa and cream. Flavor begins with roasted malts but then quickly turns to a very sweet and chocolaty flavor. More roasted malts come in near the middle followed up by a heavily roasted malt finish. Oats give a little sweetness, but really didnít notice the milk. Smooth and creamy.
