A good summer bear. Appearance reminiscent of pee, but it goes down so smooth.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
From bottle to glass at Tribe Road Kitchen in Hamilton, Bermuda. With 45 minutes of free time during an overnight business trip, I happened upon a great lunch spot with a small, but eclectic bottle collection and chose one I had not had. This was light, crisp and refreshing in the heat. Bready malt was the main character of the flavor, with lemon on the aroma.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours from bottle a slightly clouded yellow-gold that clears steadily, with one-finger white head that leaves some lacing and skim.
Light, uncomplicated aroma of biscuit and grass, tempted to say ’smells like beer.’ Palate adds gentle lemongrass, bread, hint of corn, mineral.
Manages to provide a creamy mouthfeel despite fairly light body. Finish is crisp and clean. The simple approach works well for a summer beer. This is one of the better thirst-quenchers that I’ve had lately.

This is a very light beer. Not much aroma. I would like to compare this to a coors light beer. Yuk

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUN 23, 2016 A pretty standard blonde ale. One of riverhorse’s better beers. Easy drinking, perfect for the summer sitting on the porch watching the sun set.

This beer doesn’t do anything in spectacular fashion, but it’s light, it’s easy on the eyes, and it sits well on the tongue. You can do a lot worse than this beer as summer ales go.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: clear medium gold, short white head, minimal lacing. Aroma: crackers, light grass, hint of mineral water. Taste: saltine crackers, white bread, lemongrass, dough. Finish: crackery malts linger surprisingly long, with just a hint of floral hops and a little minerality; carbonation dries things out nicely. Notes: A good golden ale. Basic and not a huge beer, character-wise, but well-executed, bright and refreshing. Like a slightly less-hoppy kolsch. Finish was the best part. Draft at Fins in Cape May, New Jersey.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours a slightly hazy amber from a bottle with a slight white head. Malty aroma, not strong, wheat flavor, maybe a slight lemon but rather bland. Meh.

3.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz bottle poured into pint glass. Golden color. One inch white head slowly dissipates. Some lacing. Hardly anu aroma. Light taste. Some corn and barley notes. Light easy finish. Light to moderate carbonation. Nice lighter summer beer. Nothing fascinating. Simple, smooth and refreshing.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Slightly hazed, light yellow-gold with a puffy white head.
Grain, light fruit scent.
Taste is sweet, a little corn, grain malt, sweet lemon.
More body than expected for the low ABV....not bad.
