3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JUL 26, 2014 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark caramel color with a medium sized fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was tart, fruity, citric and perfumey with a bit of butter underneath. The flavor was bitter, tangy and sweet with notes of lemon, toasted caramel, orange, perfume, a touch of wood and butter. Medium length finish. Moderately full bodied and surprisingly smooth. Solid.

On tap at the brewery. Nice fruity fresh hop aroma, apricot and pineapple. Mild sweetness. Medium amber clear with creamy lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Start fairly dry with some caramel malt. Fruity hop character with medium bitterness. Smooth hop finish with light bitter after.
