500ml bottle: BBE Oct 15. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 6th Mar 15, during Scottish tasting session I had with myself. Blonde in name, golden in colour, the head a fast fading white covering. Not much in the nose, some mild maltiness with a whiff of hops below maybe. The taste however was fine, malty lead with a good bitter centre and finish. Toffee notes in the flavour, but not overly sweet. Decent and enjoyable: would be happy to drink this again and again, a good session ale.

Bottle from the Scottish Real Ale shop. Appearance - golden amber with a nice head. Nose - lemon and flowers going into custard. Taste - creamy lemon with barley water backdrop. Palate - light to medium bodied with a good creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - good ale. A lot of what Iím looking for in this style.

Cask conditioned at The Claghaig Inn, Glen Coe, Highland, Scotland. Gold with white head. Sweetish, fruity, malty light beer, thin on the palate, some grainy notes and a hint of lemonade. Itís ok to its style but a little dull.
