Cask @ The Halfway House. Reddish copper brown colour, reasonable head. Mild dry malty aroma. Bland resin malt flavour. Very watery. This is an insipid bitter, not an IPA

Cask by handpump at Cloisters, Edinburgh - clear amber ale, thin white head, fruity / toffee aroma and flavour, quite lightly hopped for an IPA, refreshing

On cask at Cloisters. Pours a dark golden amber colour with a fair white head. Aroma of musty yeast, caramel and oak. Similar flavours with mild carbonation and an oily mouth-feel.

Pint @ Bothan Bar. Mahogany color, casked real ale off the tap. Good head. Not a ton of taste (or aroma); not what I’m used to with IPAs, but whatever. There’s not much hops at all, actually. A decent taste otherwise, so i’d order it again.

Cask, The Salmon, Leicester. Amber with a firm foam. Aromas are light toffee and weetabix with tea and a soft soapiness. Hints of apple and pear with yeast. Flavours are caramel with dry tea and some peppery notes. Quite cloying on the palate with a thin finish. OK.

cask at bow bar ... copper ... big white head ... sofy toffee malts nose ... decent soft sweet malt fruits ... little creamy toffee ... a decent session bitter...
