Pour on tap at the brewery, thick black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of thick chocolate, toffee, oak and vanilla into some coffee, dark fruit, some roasted malt into some slight spicy notes. Taste was sweet, some vanilla, dark chocolate, brown sugar into some dark fruit, hints of coffee, roast, slight spice, finishing sweet, slight booze but not bad.

Bomber. Roasted malt aroma with rich chocolate and a little bit of coffee. Pours black with a thin mocha head and a little bit of lacing. Starts with rich chocolate malt and roasted malt. Finishes smooth with the aforementioned flavors as well as a little bit of anise and Belgian yeast. Excellent imperial stout.

Tap at 2nd Anniversary Party. Big nose of coffee and roastiness. Not nearly as boozy as 12.5% suggests, but still a sipper. Hints of anise and belgian yeast spice. I think that time did this guy pretty well.

On tap at FreshCraft at room temperature (cooling system down). Black appearance with a light brown head, mostly dissipating, minimal lacing. Slick and creamy mouth feel with a medium to full body. Rich, sweet and malty with notes of chocolate, caramel, toast, toffee and bread. Heavily sweet with minimal bitterness and low carbonation.

Opaque black color, not much head. Licorice and some tartness in the nose. Full-bodied. Simple taste profile: roast, alcohol and sweet maltyness.

Dark brown to black pour with a tan head. The aroma has some strong chocolate and roasted malt notes. The flavor is full of chocolate, roasted malt and dark fruit. Medium to thick mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Nice beer.

651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, beige head, over a black (SRM 40) body......nose is cocoa, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, hints of sugar......taste is sweet malts with hints of dried fruits, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, cocoanut, tobacco, light umami......mouth feel thick, chewy, sticky, alcohol warmth present, carbonation low with light acid tingle. This is nicely balanced between the various forces, and has great complexity. BJCP 8/3/16/5/8

Got this is a trade a while back and was waiting to drink this when cool weather got in gear. Medium thick pour that is black with tinges of dark brown in the edges and a really thin mocha head. Smell is big metallic malts, dark fruits, booze. Some minor chocolate, but rather weak all around. Taste is coffee, big ripe dark fruits, booze, medium bitter, leather, bit of licorice. Booze is not hidden as the body is not a thick as I would desire, so the alcohol is not hidden. Really was hoping for something good here, but this is really going to be slightly difficult to drink the whole thing.
