Great bright citrusy aroma combined with the crisp hop bitterness and slight spice. Great balance and leaves you wanting another.

2 my favorite beer styles (Belgian Ale and IPA) combined into one!! Lemony, grapefruity, spicy ester aroma. Taste is bitter, citric mixed with slight sweet bready flavors. Great beer, Nothing else like it in colorado!

I poured bottle into a wide tulip glass to admire this cloudy burnt orange beer with a off white head. Big grapefruit citrus and white pepper spice aromas. Big blast of hop bitterness up front yielding nicely to belgian spice esters and semi sweet malt finish. Big IPA’s and Belgian-Style ales are two of my favorite styles, which I get to enjoy at the same time in this awesome brew!

I thought this beer was really nice. Had a very clean finish. Not overly hoppy at the end. Nice cloudy color. Very distinct Belgian yeast aroma. One of my new favorites.

Bomber bottle poured a dark gold how w/ small white head. Moderate to big aroma of bright citrus. Light sweet w/ a heavy bitter finish. Tastes are lemon and grapefruit. Medium bodied, lively carbonation, and creamy mouthfeel.

22 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden orange with a medium meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is some fruit, funky earthy yeast, and some light metallic hops.

The flavor is sweet sugary bready malts with some tropical fruits and earthy yeast and a good sized bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a pretty good Belgian IPA. Not my favorite style but this has decent balance of funk, fruit and bitterness.

UPDATED: JAN 21, 2014 12 oz. "Hypothesis" bottle from the Beer Cave at Fifth Third Stadium in Geneva, IL.. Poured to milky plastic, so clarity was questionable. Otherwise, a coppery amber color, with fairly persistent, light tan head froth, and lasting cling to the wavy lacing. The nose was a fair melding of grain, resin, esters, spice, and a bit of malt creaminess. The flavor presented malt sweetness with moderate, earthy, and lingering hop bitterness. Malt content was lightly creamy and good to balance. Some alcohol heft was noticeable, with a somewhat dry finish. Not bad. Next time, shared a bomber with friends, and poured it to snifters, showing a yeasty haze to the orangey gold color, and light, off white head foam & lacing. A touch of Belgian yeast was more noticeable in the nose than the first encounter, with a hint of metallic, small change, but decent esters as orange, grapefruit, and a touch of peach. Moderate earthy, rindy, and dry astringency lingered to the finale, with not a lot of malt backing, but a light silkiness to the mouthfeel, in a rather light body. Also not much of a noticeable alcohol impression, imo.

Bottle from let’s pour. Copper orange pour. Very uncohesive. Boozy, grainy, sweet Orange driven citrus notes. Touch of Belgian fruity yeastiness. Needs work

Bomber from LetsPour.com. Pours amber with a slight white head. Aroma is like a light barleywine with a little floral hop. Full bodied. Flavor is very floral and fruity - like there are Belgian yeast type fruit esters all over this. There is some mild caramel backbone. It’s hoppy as all heck, but not harsh like a NW ale. Finishes with fruity ester which seems a combo of pineapple and something like peach. Very Belgian all the way through to the finish.
