Cloudy tan, sort of generic IIPA. Floral hop, sweet, alcoholic, but really not going anywhere unique.

Bomber from LetsPour.com. Pours amber with a slight white head. Aroma is like a light barleywine with a little floral hop. Full bodied. Flavor is very floral and fruity - like there are Belgian yeast type fruit esters all over this. There is some mild caramel backbone. It’s hoppy as all heck, but not harsh like a NW ale. Finishes with fruity ester which seems a combo of pineapple and something like peach. Very Belgian all the way through to the finish.

Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of biscuit, pink grapefruit, light orange zest and a hint of pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Tap @ River North. Pours a fairly hazy, orange appearance with an off white head. Fair fruitiness in the nose along with some pepper notes from the Belgian yeast. Kind of an interesting flavor with some peach/apricot/citrusy notes, a bit of spiciness from the yeast, and moderate bitterness. I got some booze notes but they weren’t overly harsh by any means.

Tap at Amato’s Ale House, Denver - 01/06/12. Pours a slightly hazy golden with a thin white head. Caramel malts, hops, tropical fruit on the nose. Grapefruit, a little pine, sweet malt taste. High end of medium bodied, moderate carbonation with a bitter finish.

draft. lightly hazed carrot orange body with a fine-bubbled white head, little retention. citrus fruit chews are strong, it’s of course quite thick and chewy, but thankfully not as husky and grainy as their other wares. toasty and sweet malt with fruit cocktail hops touched with a small bit of dirty / earthy phenol pepperiness. again the Belgian yeast is pretty timid and impart very little over the strong malt and hop showcase.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Pours a hazy dark amber color with a medium foamy light beige head and small patches of lacing. Aroma of hops, citrus and yeast. Medium body with flavors of citrusy hops, bready malt and yeast. The finish is fruity with a lingering hops aftertaste. Above average overall.
