On tap @ River North. Hazy golden pour with a white head. Sweet banana, some pale malt, and sugar. Pear, tart apple and lemon, and a hint of spice. Flavor is pale malt and sugar sweetness. Pear, tart apple, some banana, and lemon. Yeast, clove, orange juice.

Poured an unfiltered golden-orange with a thin white head. Musty aroma. Taste of grain, wheat, spice, and fruity esters. Medium-high carbonation, medium body.

Caramel color, tons of white head. Frothy. Far too effervescent. Soured fruit, mild tartness, prickly carb in my throat, earthy, finishes a touch sweet.

22oz at Markus'. Pours clear light brandy. Aroma is big apple clean farmhouse. Taste is farmhouse apple fruity Belgium. Finish is longish. Mouthfeel is medium and soft.

On tap at brewery. Pours a hazy orange gold with white head, settles quickly with thin lacing. Aroma is fruity, juicy, apricot, peach, mild hops. Flavor is sweet and fruity, apricot, peach, candy, mild yeast spice. Moderate carbonation, juicy texture and body with a slightly dry finish. A tasty beer.

22 oz bomber. This saison is up to par. It pours a nice hazy golden color. Earthy undertone with a slight hop presence. The ABV is a huge plus on this beer.

such a big fan of this style, and this one is right on par. Very true to Belgian-style which I think most don’t appreciate. Nice haze and head to it with a great nose.
