Aroma of raisins, dark fruit, yeast, and maybe hints of metal. Pours a cherry amber with a strong tan head and minimal lacing. The taste is an astringent sweet. Malts, nuts, dark fruit with some gain on the finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Overall, ok, but not favorite quad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Shared bomber poured to snifters, showing a cloudy, copper color, a modest head of off white/light tan foam, and spotty lacing. The nose was yeast, light grain, maltiness, with a touch of caramel, light pit fruit, and ready alcohol presence. The taste was similar, with a touch of sweetness, and alcohol warmth, carried by soft carbonation, in a medium body. Decent, average Quad.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
651 ml. bottle. Pours a medium, well retained, ivory head, over a hazy, light copper (SRM 17) body......nose is cereal, light dark fruits (plum, raisin) molasses from the malts, light herbs from the hops, uncooked egg white, banana, from the yeast.....taste is sweet, with light dark fruits, hints of molasses from the malts, minimal bitterness, and light herbs from the hops, banana, light clove from the yeast....mouth feel is light of medium, sticky, alcohol heat present, carbonation low, finishing sweet. This is an overly sweet, unfortunately simple Abt/Auad. It is a bit muddled in both aroma and flavor. Perhaps a change in the malt backbone or yeast would make a better beer. BJCP 6/2/12/4/6
