Pours a deep mahogany red brown with a little cloudiness. Nose is toffee, butterscotch, bourbon, and barrel characteristics. Flavor follows. Big and a just a little hot. Delicious sipper. Needs some more time to come together. Going to get some more for the cellar.

Pour on tap at the brewery, dark reddish brown with foamy yellow head. Aroma has notes of vanilla, whiskey, caramel, chocolate, molasses, plum, raisin, nice and balanced. Taste is nice dark fruits with whiskey, vanilla, some nice raisin and plum notes with a slight hint of booze, some molasses and acidic malts, cocoa powder, finishing sweet.
