Really nice body mouthfeel. This stuff is great in a league of its own when it comes to golden ales 3.6 I could happily down 6 pints in a row on a warm summers day that’s what I call a session beer! Shame it’s end of November I will get a porter next!

Cask-conditioned at the Bag ONails, Bristol 8/12/08. pale gold with a billowing white head. Big aroma of citrus and floral hops. Flavour began with a touch of sweetish malt, before the hops took over again with plenty of elder flowers, citrus and a decent dry finish. A lot going on for a 3.6% beer.

Cask @ The Wenlock.
Hazy pale gold with a sort of white dishsoap head, nice lace regardless. Weird stuff, might actually have soap in it, smells and tastes of citrus washing up liquid (yes, I have tasted citrus washing up liquid) with some pear and greenery underneath. Bitter and soapy with a strange ashy finish. Not quite sure what to make of it really.
