Great look and aroma. Not much on the T and P front, but still a well crafted beer.

Bottle from Beer Cartel (also on tap at Brewery). Hazy copper/brown, caramel/toffee malt, slightly burnt character, some citrusy bitterness, a bit harsh, a bit nutty. Not bad, but a bit rough around the edges.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle - pours hazy brown with lacy off white head. Real mix of citrus hop and caramel malt. Aroma belies the taste, dry roast malt with only a hintof the hops from the aroma. Thereís a spritzyness to the front of the palate and a long dry finish at the back of the palate.

Tap at local tap house. Nice golden amber pour. Very toffee and earth driven. Nice caramel bitterness on the palate. Pretty good stuff.

Bottle cheers to Owen. A good pour but not a huge fan of this beer. Itís quite burnt and toffee forward without a great deal of balance. I can see the appeal though as it is an American style amber. Quite earthy. Itís just not my kind of beer I guess

As "44 American Amber Ale".
Hazy copper to brown color, light brown head. Sweet, hoppy, roasted scent. Sweet, caramel, roasted, bitter, zest taste. Bitter aftertaste. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness.

330mL bottle. Pours a hazey muddy brown with a soft slightly off white head. Massive sweet piney/perfume aroma with a choc/nut note. Soft carbonation but it seems to suit the beer. Flavour screams hops with the pine dominating and the citrus, dark chocolate, toffee takes the the wing. Very nice beer. Riverside where have you been all my life?

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a cloudy brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, nuts, roasty notes and some hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a moderate bitter finish. Pretty good.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Ruddy copper and just short of brigh. Minimal, minute bubbles rise slowly up to a thin wafer of dirty white foam. tWickedly piney and nutty aroma wafts from the glass. A little grapefruit, Sauvignon Blanc, camphor and gum leaves atop a lot of roasted peanuts and almond, pineneedles and nettles. Wickedly malty, nutty, chewy and harbouring a truckload of nicely placed hops that give it a raw and herbaceous bitterness that is long lived. Dry in the finish with a whole pineforest blending with a vinous, white wine and grapefruit flavour and light warmth from the alcohol. Juicy, biscuit malt front opens up as it warms. This is grandish stuff. So perfectly balanced and fine tuned, and evilly drinkable. Iím surprised. A benchmark for Amber ales everywhere! (33cL, fresh batch, no date stamp, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle, thanks to MrKennedy. Cloudy amber with a loose beige head. Aroma of caramel, hazelnuts, grapefruit, pine. Quite thin, surprisingly little presence. Some nuts and chocolate, somewhat weedy bitterness with some grapefruit. A little crude, but lively and pretty tasty.
