Bottle poured into glass at mumu grill. Pours hazy deep orange gold with resilient off white decent sized tight head. Passionfruit, pine, citrus and tropical fruit on the nose atop of a light caramel malt character. Hops at the forefront. Body is medium-light, a touch of malt character, but a fruit salad of hops are there with a medium flavour and bitterness. ABV well cared for, however some odd flavours; salty, mineral and light veg are apparent on the finish. Overall well done. Pity the Americans do them so much better.

A very enticing aroma is not let down by the full bodied nicely balanced flavour. On excellent brew and one of the best Australian IPAs Ive had.

Squealer from TruBru. Pours a lovely ruby amber with a fine off white head. Nose is lovely, fresh, resinous hops. Grapefruit and strong pine. Flavor is very citrusy, a bit of caramel. Bitter finish with some really mild biscuit. Not too complex, but tasty and well made.

On tap at The Grain Store. Pours a orange/amber colour, thin white head, very hoppy fruit flavours, mild bitterness with only a tiny hint of alcohol for such a strong IPA.

330ml bottle from Beer Cartel. I cant believe this beer hasnt better ratings. I find this Aussie IPA sensational, with all the tastes and flavours of a classic IPA. Add to that a lovely lingering bitterness on the palate and dangerously easy to drink. Not too boozy yet still so full flavoured, Id love to get this on tap. One of the best Aussie IPAs around.

solid ipa buts suffers from the oft repeated mistake in aussie brewing of never really knowing whether it wants to be a malt focused ipa or a clean, lean wcipa.

on tap at the grain store in sunny newcastle. amber with a short-lived head; surprising hint of stonefruit with some wet tin in the aroma; plenty of bitterness with also plenty of roughness around the edges and loads of alcohol showing

Bottle from Beer Cartel. Dark orange/amber, small, creamy white head, mango, pineapple, resinous bitterness, sweet caramel malt, alcohol well hidden for 7.7%, full body, oily/slick texture. Nice one.
