3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle poured into glass at mumu grill. Pours hazy deep orange gold with resilient off white decent sized tight head. Passionfruit, pine, citrus and tropical fruit on the nose atop of a light caramel malt character. Hops at the forefront. Body is medium-light, a touch of malt character, but a fruit salad of hops are there with a medium flavour and bitterness. ABV well cared for, however some odd flavours; salty, mineral and light veg are apparent on the finish. Overall well done. Pity the Americans do them so much better.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beer Cartel. Dark orange/amber, small, creamy white head, mango, pineapple, resinous bitterness, sweet caramel malt, alcohol well hidden for 7.7%, full body, oily/slick texture. Nice one.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy light amber. Very straightforward earthy, foresty and lightly citrusy hop nose. Sweetness is great light sugary, not at all cloying, and integrated w the hop like candied orange peel

Re-rate. Bottle at PBS tasting cheers to Joel. Definitely not infected this time around. Quite a sticky sweet and resinous feel to this one. Lots of dried apricot and stone fruits yet a herbacious nose to it. Unique and could be mistaken for a US take on the style

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
330mL bottle. Pours a slight amber hue with a small head and soft carbonation. Aroma screams tropical fruits, mango, grapefruit, passionfruit, very nice. Flavour is more grapefruit orientated with a nice toffee backing. Nice beer but not exceptional.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
330ml bottle. Pours a darkish orange amber colour, frothy foam off-white head leaving alittle lacing and aroma of malt, spice, orange, tropical fruits, yeast. Taste is malt caramel with grapefruit, woody pine notes and an earthy spicy bitterness. Slightly oily mouth feel, medium bodied, medium carbonation, warming dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle (thanks to MrKennedy). Amber with a large white head. Aroma of kumquats, toffee, dried peach and mango, galangal. Full bodied, carbonation is quite high. Peach and caramel sweetness, dusty tropical fruit notes, citrus tends towards grapefruit, Indian accented spices. Dryish at the end with a little less bitterness than I’d like. Hearty and full of character. Identifiably Australian.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not a bad IPA. Looks and smells ok, reasonable flavour but a little too one dimensional for my liking more of a strong APA than an IPA.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark, rich peach colour. Aroma is a fantastic fruit showcase. Taste is spot on balance between the bitterness and the fruity sweetness. Nice malt build here. Palate is mild bitterness. Overall, great IPA - certainly one of, if not, the best of its style from Australia. Pretty big and sessional.

dark amber color, tons of tropical fruit and caramel in the nose. Medium full body with tons of caramel malt shining through, but still decent amount of hops. Med bitter finish with pineapple juice lingering.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
330ml botte from Warners at the Bay Bottle Shop. Lots of caramel malt and hop aromas and a deep thick head. Nice bronzed amber colour with a flavour that is very drinkable. Could easily drink quite a few of these.
