3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a darker, translucent brown with a bubbly beige head of foam. No retention. The aroma is oddly metalic with some nuts and mild esters trying to come through. The taste is a little more active with the clove and banana esters coming through nicely. This beer actually does taste pretty good. Nice level of carbonation. Overall, it isn’t too bad.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz bottle from notes late 2012/early 2013. Pours a hazy brown color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have banana, wheat bread, raisins, hints of chocolate and spices, thin body, ok but nothing to get really excited about.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Amy! Dark brownish black pour with thin tan head, aroma brought notes of slight dark malts, hints of roast, touch of sour fruits, hints of caramel, toffee, touch of spice and earth. Taste is a mix of sweet and sour fruits, touch of caramel, toffee, slight earth, spice, finishing fairly tart, slightly sweet. Ok.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Twelve ounce bottle from The Party Source, tasted on December 30, 2012. Very dark coffee color, assertive nose with yeast, spice, banana and vinous-like notes, thin body, fairly big sweet flavor with raisin, plum and other fruit notes. Some astringency detracted a little from the overall experience but a pretty good beer overall.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle pours a opaque deep brown with some creamy, off white head. Nose is drenched in pitted fruit, plum, prune, raisin, dark bread, rum, candy sugar, a little malt vinegar, some dried cherry. Flavor is interesting, bread crust, light smoke, earthy, dirty parsnip, flat cola, a little wheat chaff, some dried cherry, prune. Watery finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Refrigerated 12 oz. brown bottle poured into a weizen glass. Pours dark brown with off-white head which dissapates quickly. Little lacing, medium/low carbonation, and light sweet banana aroma. Taste is some banana, light roasted malt, and a hint of milk chocolate. Pretty easy to drink, but needs more flavor.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a dark brown color with a thin light-brown head. Aroma is roast malt, some sour fruitiness, hints of cocoa. Taste is similar with the fruit notes becoming most prominent and adding in a tangy tartness. This really caught me off guard but I didn’t dislike it. The fruitiness was interesting and probably the only thing that made this beer memorable. I can at least appreciate that.
