Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Clear yellow-gold color with a medium ivory white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, citrus and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering hoppy aftertaste. Above average overall.

Bottle- pours hazy golden with fluffy white head that persists. Light, airy hoppy nose, somewhat grassy though fragrant. Quite light bodied and thin palate. Citrus fresh green hop flavors with a reasonable dry bitter finish though short. Could drink a lot of these so yep, sessionable ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One problem: Iím trying this 12oz bottle after Fat Headís hop juju, which was an amazing double IPA. There is nothing structurally wrong with this weak sauce, but nothing stands out either. It drinks like a pale ale.

I thought for sure I had rated this before. 12oz bottle into a tulip glass - nose is urine from a cat whose diet mainly consists of dandelions. A lilí sipa adds grassy notes. Bitter and light. So this is the new style, of which Iíve already five or six? I can already see BMC gambling a ton of assets to take over this market. I have no problems pounding this five more times. Lemon peel aftertaste. +1 overall for some disparaging reason.

16 oz. can. Pours a bright, light golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have a nice hop character; mild citrus, herbal, grassy, and earthy, with toasted pale and bready malts. The flavor shows a bit more malt and slightly less of the hop character than the nose. Light bodied with a good mouthfeel for a session IPA. This is one of their best non sour/lambic beers.

Bottle: Pours clear, bubbly gold, with a small white head. Grapefruit peel aroma....pine....strong. Strong flavor, too, grassy, piney bitter, grapefruit peel.... Grain malt, lager-ish body. Light, but packed with IPA-ness.... A session special.

Draft sample at 2013 Cincinnati Brew Ha Ha festival. Cloudy yellow hue, assertive hoppy/piney/floral/fruity nose, good bittersweet flavor thatís much like the aroma, coats the mouth nicely, long pleasant aftertaste. This unadvertised addition to the festival lineup was quite welcome. Tasted on August 24, 2013.
