Our pumpkin ale is a spice infused ale using dark sugars, real pumpkin and fresh ground spices. This is how we do pumpkin pie! Best served in at 59ºF in a wide pub glass. Late October-November release.

From bottle. Clear brown amber color. Aroma is somewhat spiced, but it is very faint. Taste is much better, with pumpkin purée, pie spices, and some caramel. Thin bodied, but it tastes just like pumpkin pie.

Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a decent sized off-white to khaki head that settles to a ring and doesn’t really lace. Nose involves some restrained pumpkin pie spices, a dash of cinnamon, some actual pumpkin flesh coming through. Somewhat sweet, a bit more bitter. Medium bodied, fairly active, somewhat oily, finishing toasty with spices lingering. An ok brew, but not too exciting. Was looking forward to the contributions of the molasses, but didn’t get much from it.

On tap. Hazy copper color with a thin head that dissipates completely. Aromas of sweet malt and pumpkin spice. Flavors are flimsy--muted pumpkin, cinnamon, a slight herbal tone and muted hops. Thin, fizzy mouthfeel. Not really very impressive.

Poured an amber orange color with aromas of light pumpkin pulp malt, and some all spice. Flavors are malt forward with light pumpkin pulp and some spices on the back end. Not overly spiced just enough light pumpkin, wish there was some more.

Not my favorite pumpkin ale, but a nice, easy drink nonetheless. Slight pumpkin and even fainter cinnamon.

Poured a dark red amber with a thin head. Aroma of pumpkin and spice was noticeable, but not as fragrant as others. Taste mostly pumpkin with hints of the syrup and cinnamon. Spices begin to overpower with each sip. Very light and leaves a dry after taste in your mouth.

Big flavor in first sip fades real fast. By third sip the thin palate show this brew doesn’t have the staying power if a good pumpkin or fall ale

Pours a deep brown with a paper thin white head. Aroma of brown sugar and caramel malt, pumpkin pie spices. Taste is very sweet, caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg etc. a bit too sweet for me. Very thin in body.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2015 I can’t get these punkin beers; they’r rather dull and usually have more spices than punk, if any. Spices abound in this one too. Yep, these beers need more co2, tartness, sugar and less dullness. Not impressed.
