12oz bottle. Clear orange color, thin beige head, fading to minimal. Solid ring of lace. Crisp, light carbonation. Easy to drink. Great pumpkin pie aroma, very nice spice... Interesting enough yet not overwhelming, makes me want to drink this with big gulps. Light sweet taste. Some oily mouthfeel. A good, drinkable, quasi-refreshing pumpkin ale. Hits the mark.

Thanks to my beer buddy, Big D, I love trying these beers this time of the year. Although, I am not a big fan of the pumpkin beers, this one had good flavors, up there with Dogfish Head Pumpkin. Hints of pumpkin flavors in the beer, the pumpkin flavor doesn’t overtake the flavor (I like that). Love the label on this one---Thank again D!!

Alright, I purchased this on tap in "Arnolds" in Cincinnati, Ohio - This is just a fine, orangy-hued pumpkin brew with a balanced body and darn tastey!

Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear amber with a thick khaki colored head of foam. Tons of carbonation bubbles floating to the top of the beer. Sheets of lacing as the head dissolves. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin pie spices, malts, nutmeg. Taste is lightly pumpkin pie. biscuity malts and creamy pumpkin pie filling. Another solid beer from Rivertown Brewing.

Sample from bottle at 2011 Cincinnati Beer Fest on Fountain Square. Medium to dark amber color, sweet aroma of spices and pumpkin, thin body, moderate bittersweet flavor--can actually taste the pumpkin as well as the spices. A little like an alcoholic pumpkin pie. Not the biggest pumpkin beer I’ve ever tasted but certainly satisfactory.

12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a nice amber color, slightly syrupy, with a small off white head. The aroma was sweet, pumpkin pie with the standard spice blend. The flavor was initially sweeter with some spices. The pumpkin seemed to be from extract rather than fresh pumpkins. Midway some pie crust works its way in to the flavor sprinkled with a little molasses. This is never big like some of the imperialized pumpkin beers out there, just a decent drinking pumpkin beer.

Pours a dark orange body with a thin white head. I get the cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg usually associated with pumpkin ales, but this is not overly sweet. Well done.

Bottle:   Dull dark amber, fairly murky, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Little bit of actual pumpkin pie aroma on the nose.   Otherwise muted cinnamon or nutmeg.   Comes across as a soft pumpkin pie flavor on the tongue, including the crust!   To me it reminds me of a none imperial Pumpking from Southern Tier.   Has the flavors, muted, and not as brash or alcoholic.   Pretty tasty in that its not just spices thrown together.   Yep, its pie.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, soft pumpkin pie lingers.   Could stand to be a bit brighter, but as its its pretty tasty.   Thanks Brad for sending a few of these!

Caramel color with a small light tan head that dissipates quickly. Caramel, brown sugar, with a little bit of cinnamon and vegetable aromas, not distinctly pumpkin though. Sweet malty dark sugar flavor with a bit of a spiced kick on the finish, again there is a little bit of a veggie taste but not exclusively pumpkin. Medium body, it is a good beer (and not sour like some of the others in the mix pack an obvious plus) but not very pumpkiny (a good thing maybe?)

Draft. Aroma is sweet malts, cinnaman, and nutmeg. Notes of allspice, ginger, pumpkin and cain sugar stand out. Palate is thick, but crisp. Flavor brings out a great pumpkin pie taste. One of the better pumpkin beers I have had.
