Panama City, Fl. - Kwiker Liquors #2 - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium copper pour, little to no head. Aroma is slightly funky with some sour vegetable notes. Flavor has a hint of pumpkin pie spice, a touch of ripening vegetables, a brief touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Had better pumpkin ales.

Draft to taster at Rivertown. Looks decent; brownish-orange with good carbonation and creme lacing. Smells mild, but of pumpkin and spices. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad.

12 oz. bottle shared by Tmoney99. Pours a nice amber color, slightly syrupy, with a small off white head. The aroma was sweet, pumpkin pie with the standard spice blend. The flavor was initially sweeter with some spices. The pumpkin seemed to be from extract rather than fresh pumpkins. Midway some pie crust works its way in to the flavor sprinkled with a little molasses. This is never big like some of the imperialized pumpkin beers out there, just a decent drinking pumpkin beer.

It says "Late October - November Release". It’s mid-August. Just FYI. Anyway, not as cloying or sweet as some pumpkin beers, and has a bit of hop bite. Most of the usual players - cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, etc - are present.

Bottle from a sixer purchased at Blacklick Wine & Spirits. Clear copper pour with a thick beige head. Malty nose with cinnamon, ginger and allspice notes. Malty flavor with cinnnamon, vanilla and ginger before a dry, crisp finish.

The aroma is sweet with pumpkin and spices but slightly plasticy. The appearance is amber with a tiny head. The taste is like the aroma. The palate is typical. Overall fun to try as a seasonal but not a favorite.

Squat longneck with a good label and cap. Dried apricot colored beer, foggy, without much head. Sweet, spicy, jammy apple butter aroma. Lightly sweet, a little vinegary - gives me the impression of pickled peaches. Allspice, nutmeg notes, dry, the bitterness is spice rather than hops. Medium to slightly light body. ABC, Bull Run.

I can’t get these punkin beers; they’r rather dull and usually have more spices than punk, if any. Spices abound in this one too. Yep, these beers need more co2, tartness, sugar and less dullness. Nit impressed.

Pours a soft hazy red orange with one finger of off white head. Nose is soft and spicy, round and bready with notes of pumpkin flesh and squash. A little dry on the spice side in the flavor and pumpkin flesh definitely shows. Medium to light bodied.
