Draft to taster at Rivertown. Looks decent; brownish-orange with good carbonation and creme lacing. Smells mild, but of pumpkin and spices. Tastes like it smells with an average mouthfeel. Not bad.

Panama City, Fl. - Kwiker Liquors #2 - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy medium copper pour, little to no head. Aroma is slightly funky with some sour vegetable notes. Flavor has a hint of pumpkin pie spice, a touch of ripening vegetables, a brief touch of vanilla. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Had better pumpkin ales.

Bottle from a sixer purchased at Blacklick Wine & Spirits. Clear copper pour with a thick beige head. Malty nose with cinnamon, ginger and allspice notes. Malty flavor with cinnnamon, vanilla and ginger before a dry, crisp finish.

Bottle:   Dull dark amber, fairly murky, thin sudsy white head, sparce lacing.   Little bit of actual pumpkin pie aroma on the nose.   Otherwise muted cinnamon or nutmeg.   Comes across as a soft pumpkin pie flavor on the tongue, including the crust!   To me it reminds me of a none imperial Pumpking from Southern Tier.   Has the flavors, muted, and not as brash or alcoholic.   Pretty tasty in that its not just spices thrown together.   Yep, its pie.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Clean finish, soft pumpkin pie lingers.   Could stand to be a bit brighter, but as its its pretty tasty.   Thanks Brad for sending a few of these!

12 oz. bottle in a trade with queenholly. Nose is cinnamon and caramel malt. Weak flavors of pumpkin, all spice and it has a strange sour ginger note. Body is thin and watery. Almost a sweet sugary finish. This odd sour ginger is real distracting and takes away from this beer. Is ginger even an ingredient in this brew? I really don’t like ginger root as a taste at all and for me this brew just does not work. Perhaps this works better on draft….

It says "Late October - November Release". It’s mid-August. Just FYI. Anyway, not as cloying or sweet as some pumpkin beers, and has a bit of hop bite. Most of the usual players - cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, etc - are present.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish orange with a decent biege head. Aroma of pumpkin, malt, and spices. Taste is pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, malt, and brown sugar. Good for a pumpkin beer.
