Bottle shared pours medium orange color, with off white head. Nice aroma of pumpkin and some mild spices which is a turn around from the norm. The flavor is very good solid pumpkin flavor with some mild cinnamon flavor. As far as pumpkin beers this one is pretty good.

Bottle. Orange-brown in color. Light amber head. Aroma, spicy, pumpkin pie. Taste like a nice pumpkin pie, a tad funky after taste.

This beer starts off very well, with a nice looking pour and really nice nose with lots of pumpkin pie spices and a mild bready note that almost make you think it’s pie crust. Sadly, the flavor doesn’t stand up as well as the nose...if it did, this could be a top notch pumpkin brew.

Bottle pour deep amber minimal head. Nose sweet malt, pumpkin, cinnamon. Taste pumpkin pie in a glass. Sugary pumpkin, cinnamon, can almost taste the whip cream too. Mild bitter aftertaste.

Thanks to my beer buddy, Big D, I love trying these beers this time of the year. Although, I am not a big fan of the pumpkin beers, this one had good flavors, up there with Dogfish Head Pumpkin. Hints of pumpkin flavors in the beer, the pumpkin flavor doesn’t overtake the flavor (I like that). Love the label on this one---Thank again D!!

Meh. Not much pumpkin. Beer is ok though. An amber. Nice caramel malt nose with some spices. Darker amber pour.

Orange colored pour with a small off-white head. Watery aromas of faint spices. Flavor is similar. Very weak all around.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a clear dark copper with a very tiny fizzy head. It almost seems like the cap wasn’t seated properly or maybe it is just under carbonated. Either way not very impressive. The aroma is quite nice and tends to be somewhat heavy on the molasses and cinnamon. There is almost a little roast with it. Reallly good spice to this one and it doesn’t overwhelm in the smell. Good balance. The flavor is quite nice as well. Brown sugar and caramel up front with a touch of cinnamon. There is a really nice malt character but sweetness is kept in check. No hops really at all but there is a mild bitterness in the finish. Nice, full mouthfeel ending with a touch of sweetness. Overall, a really nice pumpkin ale. The spices are not too overwhelming and you can really taste the malt. Well done.

Why do I do this to myself!?! Trying Cincy beers I know will be mediocre. Well it looks nice, but man this thing just falls flat in the flavor department. I’m only detecting a scintilla of what the description promises. It’s just a plan lager with a dash of October. Sorry Rivertown....maybe I’ll pick up one of your revered sours one day.

Draft. Aroma is sweet malts, cinnaman, and nutmeg. Notes of allspice, ginger, pumpkin and cain sugar stand out. Palate is thick, but crisp. Flavor brings out a great pumpkin pie taste. One of the better pumpkin beers I have had.
