0.9 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Zombiecleric (2) - Columbus, - OCT 8, 201212 ounce bottle. It was like drinking seltzer water with a slightly spiced, alcoholic, wortlike after taste. It was not only the pumpkin ale I’ve ever drank it was probably the worst beer I’ve ever drank.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 phaleslu (4430) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 30, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Dilly Cafe. Pours a clear orange-amber with a finger of off-white head that lasts for a surprisingly long time. Aroma of pumpkin, apples, brown sugar, nutmeg, and allspice. Flavor is pretty much the same. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts smooth and even fruity and finishes more spicy. A little uneven but not a bad pumpkin ale.
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Chuckaduck (490) - Kentucky, USA - DEC 23, 2012
Pours a somewhat hazy reddish orange with no head. Aroma is pumpkin pie, spices, brown sugar. Flavor is pumpkin, spice, herbal, a little bitter. Medium body. What I really enjoyed about this beer was that it tasted like pumpkin, not like pumpkin pie spice; this is a problem I have with some other pumpkin ales but not here. This is a nice pumpkin ale for the fall.

Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. The pumpkin spices dominate, there is a woody character, dry, thin bodied, slight alcohol. Not bad, but it could use more balance.

Pours a soft hazy red orange with one finger of off white head. Nose is soft and spicy, round and bready with notes of pumpkin flesh and squash. A little dry on the spice side in the flavor and pumpkin flesh definitely shows. Medium to light bodied.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mcberko (4046) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 13, 2012
12 oz. bottle, bonus’d to me by tstockstrom (thanks a lot, Chuck). Pours a hazy orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma of dark, slightly caramelized brown sugar, pumpkin spices (nutmeg and cinnamon), and a bit of pumpkin puree. Flavour is fairly light and restrained, dominated by the aforementioned spices, some dark brown sugars and a bit of pumpkin puree. Light, slightly sweet and spicy. Solid pumpkin ale.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Dogbrick (6014) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 6, 2012
This beer pours a brownish-amber color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of nutmeg and pumpkin. Light-bodied with flavors of grainy malt, spice and faint pumpkin. The finish is sweet with a malt and cinnamon aftertaste. Not very pumpkiny but a decent beer.
