Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Appearance is a clear amber with a thick khaki colored head of foam. Tons of carbonation bubbles floating to the top of the beer. Sheets of lacing as the head dissolves. Aroma is cinnamon, pumpkin pie spices, malts, nutmeg. Taste is lightly pumpkin pie. biscuity malts and creamy pumpkin pie filling. Another solid beer from Rivertown Brewing.

Pours a somewhat hazy reddish orange with no head. Aroma is pumpkin pie, spices, brown sugar. Flavor is pumpkin, spice, herbal, a little bitter. Medium body. What I really enjoyed about this beer was that it tasted like pumpkin, not like pumpkin pie spice; this is a problem I have with some other pumpkin ales but not here. This is a nice pumpkin ale for the fall.

Rtb pumpkin pours rich red brown slightly hazy. Nose is mild spice and meaty pumpkin scent. Body is fluid and lightly carbonated. Taste is mellow with a good amount of cinnamon and clove without it being too much. Slightly warming. Nice finish.

Copper pour at GABF. Lots of roasted squash up front with some very nice pumpkin pie spices, and even a hitn of sugary crust! Flavor is lightly sweet, spice, pumpkin. Pretty good example of the style!

Pours a dark orange body with a thin white head. I get the cinnamon, pumpkin, nutmeg usually associated with pumpkin ales, but this is not overly sweet. Well done.

Pours a soft hazy red orange with one finger of off white head. Nose is soft and spicy, round and bready with notes of pumpkin flesh and squash. A little dry on the spice side in the flavor and pumpkin flesh definitely shows. Medium to light bodied.

Thanks to my beer buddy, Big D, I love trying these beers this time of the year. Although, I am not a big fan of the pumpkin beers, this one had good flavors, up there with Dogfish Head Pumpkin. Hints of pumpkin flavors in the beer, the pumpkin flavor doesn’t overtake the flavor (I like that). Love the label on this one---Thank again D!!

12oz bottle. Clear orange color, thin beige head, fading to minimal. Solid ring of lace. Crisp, light carbonation. Easy to drink. Great pumpkin pie aroma, very nice spice... Interesting enough yet not overwhelming, makes me want to drink this with big gulps. Light sweet taste. Some oily mouthfeel. A good, drinkable, quasi-refreshing pumpkin ale. Hits the mark.
