Bottle @ home via trade with Veldrid, I believe. Thanks! Pours a dark brown appearance with a foamy, dark brown head. A touch fruity, very roasty, a bit nutty, mild coffee, vanilla aroma. A bit tart, somewhat acidic, a bit fruity, fairly thin bodied. Some coffee and vanilla but overall all that great.

12 ounce bottle from East End Liquors, Knoxville. Pours a dark brown color with a medium sized fizzy brown head that fades in a hurry. Aroma of brownie batter, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, faint bit of roast. The taste is coffee, chocolate, vanilla, brownie batter, mild notes of nuts, roast, hops. Thin bodied, high carbonation, faintest hit of booze. Really nice, could be world class with some refinement.

On draught at the Lackman in Cincy. The beer pours brownish-black with a medium fluffy beige head that recedes steadily. Aroma of vanilla, chocolate, coffee and malt. Rich body with a nice vanilla mocha character with notes of roasted coffee, chocolate and hops. The finish is roasty with a vanilla aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

Bottled. Poured deep garnety-brown with a sticky beige head. The aroma picked up sweeter, toasted molasses and lightly-smoked black malts, with very deep vanilla bean undertones.. a little sourness evident, otherwise it was great. The flavor had unfortunate metallic and vinegar sourness throughout.. rich, sweet vanilla bean and cane sugar in there too, along with burnt espresso showing right at the end.. lots of tasty stuff in there, but the sourness kept it from being enjoyable. Medium-bodied, sour, and roasty on the palate.. again the sourness hurt this brew badly.
