3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Poured clear brown with an average to large frothy light brown head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy molasses and spice aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy spice and sweet flavor with a medium to heavy spice sweet finish of moderated duration. Refreshing complex beer.

Bottle. Another weirdly spiced winter ale. No idea why they make these beers

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Lizardville Rocky River. Murky amber pour with a frothy white head. Mostly molasses in the nose and taste, but the cinnamon is there in subtle fashion. Decent fuller palate. Not bad.

Kind of strange. Seemed to have a weird mixture of spices. Didn’t sit real well with me.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Deep amber color with a short lived off white head. Spicy nose with cinnamon and sugar. This is a good example of a spiced Christmas ale. Molasses and white sugar sweetness with lots of cinnamon toast taste. Maybe a little too sweet, but very appropriate for the season.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
.Pours clear amber with a medium tan head. Aroma has notable cinnamon and mild sweet fruitiness. Flavor has lots of cinnamon and some sweet malts and fruitiness...vanilla and molasses add levels of sweetness to cut the cinnamon...tastes a bit like a dessert but bitters late. Mouthfeel is medium/full and the finish is bitter and dry with lingering vanilla cinnamon.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20
Bottle. Strong diacetyl aroma... smells like buttered popcorn. Clear chestnut with a small off-white head. Just as in the nose, huge diacetyl flavor. Got some issues here.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear reddish with a barely there white head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, herbal; reminds me of a spiced cider. Taste is sweet; fruity, spicy. Some chewiness to the mouth feel. A bit different but not bad. My only concern is that it really doesn’t fit its description that specifically. I didn’t get any molasses, no head and I wouldn’t call the flavor "rich" nor "bold". That being said, I would drink this again.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
12oz bottle - pours clear amber with thin tan head and thin lacing. Nose is cinnamon. Flavor adds caramel and more spiciness. Sweet. Big mouth feel. Not what I’m looking for in a winter warmer. Unidirectional.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12 oz. bottle. Pours a somewhat hazed reddish amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of very sweet malts, dry bread, and mild spice. Flavor of ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, dry grainy malts, and a vegetal note. Light-bodied, with a spicy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Some promise but sloppy.
