Rivertowne Check Pilsner

Clean and rather crisp on the olfactory but other than that no detectable aroma. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager appearance. Decent carbonation. Some old leathery but generally well behaved flavors. Has some hints of you favorite girl’s BO, in a good way, of course. Oily old canola oil flavars. An OK beer.

On tap at Rivertowne. Mild grassy spicy aroma with caramel undertone. Beany hops, Saaz? Golden amber clear with thin white lacing head. Medium watery body with medium carbonation, light fizz burn. Starts with mild carbonic acidity, pilsener malt, and medium bitter grassy hops. This is clean and refreshing with a medium-heavy bitter finish. After is light bitter with a remnant of malt sweetness, otherwise clean.
