3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I bought this to drink while watching the Grateful Dead’s Fare Thee Well shows. Big foamy head on a dark gold pour. The can art suggests Phish and the Grateful Dead, which is fine by me. The aroma is very fruity and yeasty, like undercooked bread. The brew is pretty smooth on the palate, and it has lots of clove flavor - too much perhaps. There is a little orange peel and spicy grain too (from the grains of paradise?) An interesting wit but not a superior one.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The Beer Store, Southampton, PA six-pack: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is banana, spice, and citrus. Taste is too sweet for my tastes. The nice spicy flavors get overwhelmed by the large amounts of spiciness. I was not a fan of this, especially on a hot day.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Refreshing after work springtime aroma typical of a wit...malt, lemons, wheat, grass, bubblegum and some spices. Taste comes up short. Malt overload is a bit of a turnoff. The lemon zest isn’t bad but that malt follows through and it tastes flat and watered down.

12oz can from Kroger in Grandview. Yellow pour with visible carbonation and a big white head. Aroma of yeast, spice and citrus. Tastes are banana, coriander, belgian yeast. Sweet generally. Mouthfeel is less bubbly than it looked - creamy. Ok.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Twelve ounce can from Rivertowne Paradise sampler 12 pack purchased at Jeff’s Marathon, tasted on January 1, 2015. Very cloudy yellow/orange hue with a fair amount of sediment, strong aroma of spice with some fruit as well, creamy texture, tart/tangy/sweet/spicy flavor. Pretty good, and by far the best of the three beers from the sampler pack.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can courtesy of agl108. A clear pale gold pour with a thick off-white head. Tangy orange peels, coriander, cloves, some bananas, a little caramel, and plenty of farty sewer water make up the aroma. Goes down thin and crisp with a high level of carbonation. A wheaty graininess upfront in the taste. Yeasty. Bananas, cloves, coriander, and some tangy citrus at the end. A dash of pepper here and there.
