12oz Can to Pint Glass. Nice foggy yellow color with a fast diminishing White head. The main aroma that I noticed was citrus peel. Tast seemed to be typical witbier with a hint of banana.

On tap. Pours a clear yellow/golden color with a medium white head. The aroma is big fruit, a bit of yeasty bread. The flavor is sweet, a bit of aperitif, bready, spicy. Solid.

Pale golden colored pour. Big white head. Plenty of lacing. A bready aroma with malt and yeast in the forefront. Some spiciness lingers around. Taste is spicy with yeast and a wheat flavor. Slight banana in the finish along with an unpleasant over-bitterness.

12 ounce can into pint glass, no canning date. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden straw color with a 1-2 fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, banana, pear, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon, pear, banana, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Light tartness and earthy spice on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, banana, pear, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, bread, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; with a great malt/yeast/spice balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and lightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice witbier. Good balance and robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

UPDATED: AUG 3, 2014 The aroma is metallic and dirty with yeast, spice, and citrus. The appearance is hazy gold. The taste is trashy and like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s garbage.

From a can. Playful and aromatic wit. Spicy with notable hop finish. A great riff on the style but this beer is still recognizeable as a wit. Clean finish with no off-flavors that can often come through the softness of a wit.

Can thanks to Dmac. Pours a cloudy yellow with small frothy white head. The aroma is strong clove, yeast, and banana. Medium mouthfeel with strong yeast, clove, and nice dry finish. Good.

12oz can thanks to David MacGivesallhisbeeraway! Thanks bro! Pours a hazy yellow color with a huge frothy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, sweet grain, faint citrus, and banana. Taste mimics the nose with more lemony notes. Meh

Sample at the Big Tap In on 05/31/2014. Hazy golden color with a medium thin white head that evaporates steadily. Stringy lacing. Aroma of wheat, malt and fruit. Light to medium body with flavors of spiced wheat, citrus and malt. The finish is fruity with an herbal yeast aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

12oz can from Spirits Brick. Poured a rather ugly yellow with a slight brown tint flat body under a smaller creamy bright white head. Aroma is floral, banana, touch of clove and wheat. Body is flatter with a milky feel and a quicker fading aftertaste. Flavor isn’t as good as the aroma. Notes of clove, banana and bubble gum.
