3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can and draft from Caponeís and Craft Ale. Pours pineapple juice color and thickness and turbidity with minimal white head. Nose is like fresh Dole pineapple juice. Tastes of huge fresh pineapple juice, some malt. Finishes a bit odd, but this one is one of the more unique beers I have encountered, and worth a try.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(12oz can) Clear, very light gold pour, lasting filmy/coating fine white bubbles. Nose of fresh pineapple, wheat, fresh cracked grain, light stone fruit, and subtle spices. Taste is on the sweet side, but really, itís a pineapple beer... shouldnít it be? Taste reminds me of canned pineapple but in a good way, very much tastes like fruit, wheat, lightly spiced but only on the finish, bits of pineapple pulp (in taste, not texture), and perhaps a tiny bit of tartness lingering around too. Much better than I expected it to be, and quite refreshing. Probably wouldnít down a 6-pack at one sitting, but 2-3 while out doing yard work? Absolutely.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can. Pours a clear pale yellow body with a minimal wispy white head that completely vanished. The nose is really heavy on the pineapple scent. Smells more like a can of fresh pineapple than it does a beer. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma, really heavy on the pineapple, but itís not overly sweet or clingy, so itís got that going for it. Some pale malt below the fruit if you use your imagination a little. Light bodied with soft minimal carbonation. Itís actually pretty refreshing and tasty if you arenít looking for a serious beer.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 1, 2011 sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a hazy bright pineapple-golden color with a trace of a white head. The aroma was faint sweet and tangy pineapple. The flavor was strong sweet pineapple with a tangy and tart undertone. The finish was long with tangy pineapple. The mouthfeel was moderately thick. One dimensional but oh what a dimension. Lovely.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden blonde coloured body with a nice thick, four centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of pineapple, alcohol, grapes, oranges and a good malt backbone, but the sweetness and tropical fruits dominate. Medium-bodied; Strong pineapple flavour with a ton of sweetness right behind and a subdued yet still vibrant malty flavour. Aftertaste shows a nice tropical and floral kick with some light hops and a mild metallic note, but the pineapple and sweetness are by far the strongest. Overall, a nice and sweet fruit beer with more emphasis on tropical notes and sweetness than anything else, but the complexity exists. I sampled this pint on draught from Dunedin House of Beers yesterday on 02-January-2014.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce can received in a trade with jdb288. This beer pours clear and has no head or visible carbonation. Pineapple in the aroma along with just a bit of malts. The flavor is pineapple juice. Those light malts. Just a bit of fizz to the feel. This is very refreshing and light drinking. It would make an ideal lawn mower beer. Better drinking than it scores.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draft at Cigar City Brewpub for Fruit in the Room 2014. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Nose is huge pineapple juice and some light malt. Flavor is similar- this one comes off like straight up pineapple juice: light, fruity, and juicy. Interesting beer with lingering pineapple juice in the finish.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Easiest the best of the 4 beers I drank today. Looks like pinapple juice and smells like it too. Taste is much better than expected, yes better than the average fruit beer. Finish is very acceptable. There is of course this pine apple thing happening here but I think its well tempered. Sweeter and more refreshing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
This poured a hazy yellow color, pretty reminiscent of Pineapple juice, with a white ead. Aroma was pineapples, lemon zest, and wheat. Flavor was again lots of pineapple, not artificial at all, with nice grainy malt notes too. Different and impressive for this type of beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
From growler. Great fruity pineapple aroma, estery and tropical. Sweet with little hop character, but there is a light undertone of something other than pineapple. Cloudy pale golden, like watery pineapple juice, topped with white head. Medium watery body with medium to high carbonation. Starts sweet with fresh pineapple juice and mild fruity bitterness. Light tang and good sugary pineapple flavor, but not overwhelming. Great quencher and nice introduction beer for those who might not have tried something like this. Mild hop and pineapple finish, with mild bitterness. Smooth fruity sweet after.
