Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with a large foamy beige head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was faint dry nutty malts and a touch of roastiness. The flavor was dry and roasty with a light woody undertone. The finish was long, dry, woody and a bit roasty. Medium body. Decent.
