12oz can. Poured an amber color with an off white head. Caramel, toasted nuts, and some lighter fruitiness.

Can. Pours a clear dark amber body under a small wispy off-white head that faded pretty quickly. The nose is husky and toasty with some minimal floral hops. The flavor is a bit too sweet for the style, lots of husky and caramel malt with some very light hops. Light bodied and a big clingy with minimal soft carbonation. Pretty boring stuff.

Aroma: Lots of moldy basement aromas--pretty unappealing. Appearance: Dark brown with a tan head that dissipates quickly. Taste: Light sweetness straight throughout. Little depth. Palate: Medium body, slick texture, flat carbonation, sweet finish. Overall: Meh...a bit too malty for my taste, but drinkable. I certainly wouldn’t seek this out anytime soon.

12 oz can purchased at Piccolo Wine Shop in Sandusky, Ohio. Pours dark reddish color with light tan head. Clear Aromas of caramel and toasted malts. Seems a bit bready with an underwhelmed malt flavor. Not bad, but probably won't get more.

The aroma is malty but very little else. The appearance is brown with a small head. The taste is like the aroma and like a homebrew. The palate is thin for the style. Overall not that good.

A standard Scottish ale with high amount of malt with nutty flavor and slightly toasty flavor. Hardly any hop bitterness. It's tasty for a high malty session. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Heinens. Reddish brown, clear, with flat head. Bready mildly herbal aroma. Sweet and fruity with hints of caramel brown sugar maraschino cherries cherry syrup fairly clean slightly woody hop finish. Light body, a little watery. Not a big fan.

Can thanks to DrSilverworm. Pours dark red with a small head that fades to a thin ring. Aromas of bread, slightly burnt caramel, and a light fruitiness. Tastes like caramel, nuts, red fruit, and toast. Light sweetness, very malty. Carbonation is a bit too sharp so this could be smoother. Decent scottish ale. It’s a style that’s hard for me to get blown away by.

12oz can. Unfiltered brown-amber body. Respectable beige head. Smooth brown malt tones, caramel. Sort of middle of the road, but has some decent malt depth. A touch thin, OK.

Can. Poured a clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate toasted malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium toasted sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Smooth and drinkable beer.
