This poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma was of caramel and grass. Flavor the same, overly sweet and stale.

Serviceable oketoberfest that conveniently comes in a can. A little thin but more importantly, go steelers.

Can from wegmans. Pours hazy orange with a small white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma has bready and biscuity notes. The taste is sweet biscuit, light today. Ok.

Can from Whole Foods. Pours copper with off-white head. Nose was earthy caramel malt, toffee, hops. Tastes of earthy vienna malt, caramel, toffee, finishing hops. Smooth but not terribly complex. Medium palate heft.

Pour golden orange with aroma of bready malt, citrus, and grain. Bread malt flavor with some caramel, citrus, and toffee. Decent beer.

Orange colored body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Light semi-sweet bready malts, orange zest, light grass, and florals. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, gentle malty sweetness through, smooth, refreshing finish.

At north shore. Pours a clear dark copper with medium white head. A sweet fruity and toffee nose. Dusty sweet, leaves, toffee. Very bready. Solid.

12oz can, from Dutch’s. Mostly clear orange color. Bigger off-white head. Leaves great, thicker lace. Medium body. Smooth, kind of crisp, lighter carbonation. Nice full body. Good mix of toasty and light caramel malt, some mild but appreciated light peppery hop to it to balance out the taste... Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter. Light slick finish. Pretty good oktoberfest. Tasty to swig even on it’s own, even without food.

UPDATED: AUG 16, 2014 A bit too subdued in character for my preference +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark orange-caramel color with a trace orange-white head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was tangy with faint vague fruit and caramel. The flavor was tangy and a touch nutty with faint vague fruits and touches of caramel and cardboard. Short tangy fruity finish. medium body but noticeably smooth. Disappointing.

On tap at the rivertowne monroville. Looks like pale lager with a tad of brown in there. I think I smell hints of mint in there but not sure. First taste is mildy bitter but then the bite increases. Seems to be higher in alky but is not ill mannered. Medium to mild linger but easy to take for an octoberfest. One of the more mild tastwise that I have had.
