Draft sample at brewery. Very, very light color. A slight Kool-aid-ish nose (grape specifically). Very light malt with a strong fruit start with a rather hoppy finish, but clean. Honestly a pretty aggressively thought out beer. Decent.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2007 One of the better, more enjoyable beers I had at the Rivertowne. Lighter and more bubbly looking than a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. No hint of fruit in the aroma. Very low carbonation on the palate. tho there are quite a few bubbles within the brew. Wow, quite interesting and unique, simply lovely. Fruity but not artificial. I like this brew, easy to like and easy to get along with. Reminds me a bit of another fruit beer Iíve had lately, festina peche or a flemish sour. Could drink this all day, a great session brew.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a pale straw yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was light tangy and had a vague fruit element. The flavor was light, tangy and tart with a vague fruitiness that was indistinguishable as being pomegranate. I was rather disappointed with this one.

Draught sample at brewery. Fruity and cheesy aroma. Light tart nose with a bit of grainy sweetness and just a tad funky. Hazy pale golden with little head. Medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Starts with a good bit of honey flavor and a sweet fruity taste of what is presumed to be pomegranate. Iíve eaten pomegranate but have never just had the juice, so Iím not sure how close it comes. Light grainy notes with honey and mild hoppy finish. Smooth and fruity and not bitter at all. Clean sweet finish, with an interesting mix of flavors.
