dpjuart (520), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 17, 2007 Draft sample at brewery. Very, very light color. A slight Kool-aid-ish nose (grape specifically). Very light malt with a strong fruit start with a rather hoppy finish, but clean. Honestly a pretty aggressively thought out beer. Decent. cheapdark (1526), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 11, 2007 Updated: Dec 31, 2007One of the better, more enjoyable beers I had at the Rivertowne. Lighter and more bubbly looking than a ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. No hint of fruit in the aroma. Very low carbonation on the palate. tho there are quite a few bubbles within the brew. Wow, quite interesting and unique, simply lovely. Fruity but not artificial. I like this brew, easy to like and easy to get along with. Reminds me a bit of another fruit beer I’ve had lately, festina peche or a flemish sour. Could drink this all day, a great session brew. FROTHINGSLOSH (1448), GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2007 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a pale straw yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was light tangy and had a vague fruit element. The flavor was light, tangy and tart with a vague fruitiness that was indistinguishable as being pomegranate. I was rather disappointed with this one.
