Can. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate bread and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This beer would go well with spicy food.

12 oz can from trade with mdg164. Pours clear copper color with white head. Sweet malt aroma with some dough and nuttiness. Sweet caramel malt flavor with some nuts and grass with a hint of dough. Medium body with average carbonation.

Can to snifter. Looks good for the style; a transparent copperish orange with thin eggshell lacing. Smells solid; doughy and mildly hoppy with a touch of sweetness from the malt. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. This one was a pleasant surprise.

12oz can, shared. Clear orange amber color. Thin off-white head. Good dots and ropes of lace. Looks good. Caramelly, nutty nose. Hint of olive in the nose? Smooth, crisp, lighter carbonation, lightly creamy texture. Lightly dry finish. Light to medium body. Flavor is good. Moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Good kind of toasty aftertaste. Flavor is well-integrated, none of the olive in the flavor... Pretty damn smooth and easy-drinking. Much better than expected, a great super-smooth amber lager.

Dark golden-copper colored body, medium sized white head, spotty lacing. Fruity cereals, light floral and citric hops. Medium to light bodied, lively carbonation, light sweetness, lingering finish.

Can. Pours crystal clear copper, small white head that has decent retention. There is some light bubbles in the glass. The aroma is all malt. Slightly toasty, caramel, not smelling anything from the hops. The taste is a little too sweet for me. There is almost a taste of a Texas Roadhouse biscuit with that sweet butter they have. This is the best I’ve had from this brewery but unfortunately I’ve not enjoyed what they are doing. I appreciate their efforts but I’m not digging it.

Above average lager. Thought this was a small upgrade from yuengling, which I drink a good bit of. Lot of malt here, almost similar to a dunkel.

On tap at pgh beer Fest. Pretty typical lager beer. Nothing to really write home about. Some fruity notes and sweetish taste.

Malty, nutty, and earthy. Hops comes into play, though not with too bitter a punch. Could use a better balance, perhaps a dryer end.

Pours a honey light brown. Aroma is malty with sour notes. Taste is malty sweet with little offsetting hoppiness. Not as balanced as you would like. Drinkable. A bit sour and unrefined.
