Can poured into a snifter. Pours a clear amber color with a velvety head of beige foam. The aroma is grainy and lightly fruity. The taste is grainy and sweet with a nice biscuity note coming through on the back end. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

12 ounce can into lager glass, no canning date. Pours slightly hazy orange/copper color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with some moderate streaming carbonation. Aromas of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown bread, nuttiness, light roast, herbal, floral, light fruitiness, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of dark/bready malt and light hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown bread, nuttiness, light roast, herbal, floral, light fruitiness, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Minimal bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of caramel, toast, biscuit, brown bread, nuttiness, light roast, herbal, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Nice complexity and balance of dark/bready malt and light hop flavors; with good robustness and no cloying flavors after the finish. Very clean tasting as well. Medium carbonation and body; with a smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly bready mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very solid Vienna lager. Good balance, complexity, and robustness of dark/bready malts and light hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A pleasant and enjoyable offering.

Sample at Daily Growler (as Retweet Lager). The beer is a clear orange-copper color with a medium frothy white head that dissipates gradually to a film. Sticky top ring of lacing with spots underneath. Aroma of malt, hops and slight fruit. Light-bodied with flavors of bready malt, mild hops and fruit. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Can thanks to DrSilverworm. Clear amber color with a very small head that fades to a thin ring. Aroma is an odd malty sweetness with some stale hops. Tastes is the same. Seems old but I’m pretty sure the numbering on the side indicates that it’s from early March (1.5 months old). Generic sweet malt with a slight bitter finish and a hint of nuts. Eh.

12oz can. Orange-copper body, looks filtered. Foamy off-white head. Nutty caramel-amber malt aroma, some spicy noble hops give it a robustness. A pretty decent Vienna, a little thin, sessionable I suppose. Doesn’t have that really clean malty smoothness you might be looking for in the style, but a little more malt depth than typical amber lagers I suppose. OK.

Can. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate bread and earthy hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate bittersweet flavor with medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. This beer would go well with spicy food.

Can to snifter. Looks good for the style; a transparent copperish orange with thin eggshell lacing. Smells solid; doughy and mildly hoppy with a touch of sweetness from the malt. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. This one was a pleasant surprise.
