COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Saaz doctor is in and will cure everything! This crisp medium bodied Czech lager has a simple yet complex malt character that supports an abundance of Saaz hop flavor!

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear light light orange with a thin white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts, light fruits. Flavor of sweet lagery malts, light fruit. Pretty bland and too sweet. I didn’t care for it. 5/4/5/3/9 (2.6/5)

It’s cold and golden. I’ll give it that much. Pours clear without much aroma. It’s fairly crisp but I’m not getting much hop flavor. Not the best here.

Poured yellow and had good carbonation, aroma is typical for this style, not overly hoppy, the flavor is also typical, very bitter, nothing stands out. A well brewed beer, but only about average for this style.

Sampled on draft at the Rivertowne Pub this beer poured a dark yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was dry, nutty and tangy but not particularly hoppy. The flavor was tangy and dry with a hint of cardboard and nut. Very little hop presence. Not a whole lot to this one. Mediocre at best.

An OK pilsener. Aroma was weak. Hints of yeast and bread with some light malt. Pour was a decent light gold with no bubbles and a 1 finger white head. Taste was a little flat for a pilsener. I’ve always had problems with carbonation in this brewer’s beers. Sticky light malt with a hint of hops in the aftertaste. Not dry or crisp, but not bad.
