This beer is half Belgian White and half Hefeweizen. This wheat beer was fermented with a Hefeweizen strain of yeast and aged on orange peel, coriander, and grains of paradise. Be careful when consuming this delicious beer - you might lose your wits!

12/8/07 - Growler pour(s) courtesy of Naka. Pours hazy yellow, little head. Big ol’ banana nose w/ some clove and other spices. Taste is very "hefe", banana and clove, bubblegum and the like, but with the added "Wit" spices, coriander and orange peel are prominent, with some others. Dry, spicy finish. Good wit-type-thing.

On tap at Rivertowne. Funky nose, with tons of orange peel and spicy coriander. Mild sweet malts and a nice fruity peppery aroma. Cloudy pale light amber with very little head. Medium body with light carbonation, smooth. Starts with wheaty malt taste, lightly acidic with a lemony-orange tang and fruity notes. Bubblegum-coriander chalky notes on the tongue with dry spicy peppery bitter finish. Flowery bits and yeasty goodness. Nice wit.
