COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A unique stout which sends a message to the west coast!
A colossal stout with an aggressive roasted character and a delicious hop flavor and bite! Save yourself the trip and drink it here! Besides, it tastes better!

On tap at Rivertowne North Shore. Pours black with a thick tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, charred malt, chocolate. Flavor of roasted meats, charred malt. Decent stout, perhaps a touch weak in the palate and its flavor profile is pretty simple. 7/4/7/3/14 (3.5/5)

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a medium sized dark brown head. The aroma was roasty and had a floral hop presence. The flavor was bitter, roasty and slightly smoky with a strong floral hop note. The finish was long, bitter, roasty and hoppy. The mouthfeel was appropriately thick. Ok.

Deep, clear, ruby-black. Spicy coffee. Not fizzy. OIly mouth. Clean roast finish. Solid.

On tap at the Bocktown, nice place! Beautiful rolling pour, very nice looking creamy head. Attractive in the aesthetic sense. fairly flat IMHO could use some bubbly but on style. For some reason I was expecting an imp stout. But I am pleasantly surprised to find this palatable and roasty. This does not seem to be high on the alky scale. Finish is interesting and mild, wet old campfire coals.
