The Uncle Bob Bitter is inspired by the rich, flavorful ales of British pubs. We use floor malted English barley and a blend of British hops to create a balance between a soft malt presence and floral hop notes. It has a toasty malt character but is still smooth on the palette. At only 4.5% ABV and purposefully lightly carbonated in the bottle it is the perfect session beer. Canít get to the pub? On cask at Lord Hobo - Cambridge, MA. Earthy, plant vine and grassy clippings aroma. Flavors go in the same vein and wander around with graham cracker, toast points, some vague herbs, and a bit of blackberry. Cloudy and rich. Served at the right temperature and right carbonation level, which was very pleasing. This has a wonderful tooth, a nice hop flavor presence, and a fantastic freshness. It got a little muddy and some of the flavors may have occasionally wandered into off-flavor territory, but on the whole I thought this was pretty sharp.

From the 500 ml bottle. Yellow, heady pour akin to a Pilsener and not the amber color I prefer in my Bitters. Toasted pale malt sweetness on the nose along with grassy hops. Light body. Again, like the aroma, there is a toasted sweetness but a mild to moderate grassy bitterness at the finish. But it really comes across more like a PIlsener.

Light yeasty and hoppy aroma. Pours a beautiful clear golden orange. Nice flavor for low alcohol. Would go great with a burger!

Pours deep gold into a shaker. White head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sweet caramel aromas. Soft with caramel, straw and butterscotch front to back.

64 oz. growler served at The Deck, Salisbury. Pours a coppery light brown; sustaining a whitish-ringed head 1 finger in length atop. Experienced maize, caramel malt, East Kent Goldings, apple cores, sweat and London yeast on the nose and in the mouth. Metallic undertaste. Not bad at all. Was expecting a horrendous take on the style.

Growler share courtesy of Phatdog1. Pours an amber clear color with small and quickly disappearing fluffy off-white head. Nose is Earthy caramel malt. The taste was again Earth malt, with mild hop element that had underlying bitterness that vanished before the sip was complete. This beer is true to the style and certainly drinkable.

Had on tap at Brick & Mortar in Cambridge, MA. Aroma was of mild grass and bread. Taste was well balanced, starting with a small bit of malt sweetness interlaced with a very mild bread like flavor from the yeast, and quickly cleaned up with a bright but never abrasive bitterness. Carbonation was moderate, and the finish was relatively quick and clean. Overall, a very drinkable English style session that offers pleasant rewards to the drinker who cares enough to look.

Very Fresh sample at the brewery. Aroma is grassy, lightly herbacious, and crackery malts. Flavor is toasted bread, subtle herbal tones, a bit of fruitcake sweetness, and a semi dry finish that lingers a bit. Tasty
