COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Uncle Bob Bitter is inspired by the rich, flavorful ales of British pubs. We use floor malted English barley and a blend of British hops to create a balance between a soft malt presence and floral hop notes. It has a toasty malt character but is still smooth on the palette. At only 4.5% ABV and purposefully lightly carbonated in the bottle it is the perfect session beer. Can’t get to the pub? Bring the pub to you with a bottle of Uncle Bob.

On cask at Lord Hobo - Cambridge, MA. Earthy, plant vine and grassy clippings aroma. Flavors go in the same vein and wander around with graham cracker, toast points, some vague herbs, and a bit of blackberry. Cloudy and rich. Served at the right temperature and right carbonation level, which was very pleasing. This has a wonderful tooth, a nice hop flavor presence, and a fantastic freshness. It got a little muddy and some of the flavors may have occasionally wandered into off-flavor territory, but on the whole I thought this was pretty sharp.

Very Fresh sample at the brewery. Aroma is grassy, lightly herbacious, and crackery malts. Flavor is toasted bread, subtle herbal tones, a bit of fruitcake sweetness, and a semi dry finish that lingers a bit. Tasty
