Bouteille 750ml. Couleur orangée trouble, mousse beige pâle. Arôme d’alcool, caramel, houblon fané, un peu d’agrumes. Goût de malt caramel, amertume moyenne, sucré. Carbonatation moyenne, corps moyen-dense, huileuse.

Hazy beer with huge head. Nothing too special as the aroma was bland, and the bitterness not up to the sweetness.

Pour is a hazy gold, with a big, pillowy off-white cap that lasts longer than the effects of Viagra (so I’m told). Nose is a lot of Belgian yeast, but there’s also some citrus and spice from the hops. Taste is sweet, doughy malt, lots of yeast spice, light citrus. Finish is moderately but lingeringly bitter. This stuff has way too much Belgian yeast dominance to be called a DIPA, as many others have noted, but it’s still pretty darn tasty.

Bottle 341ml. Pours somewhat hazy golden with medium white head. Good lacing. Aroma is of fruits, citrus, belgian yeast. Taste is of belgian yeast, fruits, bitterness, citrus, sugar, alcohol. Palate: Medium body, medium carbonation. Overall: Good. Better than what I remembered.

Pours a pretty much clear golden (maybe the slightest haze but I might be hallucinathing things) with a medium white head that leaves nice lacing. Nose is quite belgian in essence, fruity and peppery. It is also perfumey, almost too much if you ask me. Taste is of the same fruity/peppery/perfumey yeast and hops combo and moderately sweet. A good and healthy bitterness without being harsh. Some fresh cereals but again that perfumey and spicy ethanol. Body is medium and carbonation a touch high for my liking. Overall this was OK but I just wish booze would take a back seat.

Very cloudy yellow golden pour with a thick creamy white head. The nose is spicy - herbal/fruity flavour over a sweet spicy malt base. Some light noble hop character but this is mostly about the yeast. Really estery and chewy with a nice fruitiness but there’s also a clashy sort of yeastiness that doesn’t really work for me.

A nice Belgian IPA. But you wouldn’t know that by seeing a DIPA with a low rating, and picking it off the shelf at Marche Omni. It was a very good drinkable summer treat.

Clear amber ale with an off-white, thick foam. Aroma is low, but citrus, pine, belgian yeast and spice are there. Taste is a little bitter, some spice and citrus are present. Aftertaste is good. Palate is creamy with a nice carbonation.
