2015-10-30. Hazy golden amber body with a large foamy off-white head. 3+ Aroma is musty, doughy bready malt, moderate alcohol. Flavour is similar, with a sweet biscuity bready malt base, moderate alcohol and a somewhat dry finish that lingers in the aftertaste. Smooth average plus body, soft effervescent carbonation. 3+ Okay. 7/3+/7/3/14+ Bottle from the LCBO, Toronto.

A frothy off-white head on an orange/grapefruit juice coloured body. The nose pops with fresh citrus, a hint of fruit rind and soft malt. This is a refreshing beer with lovely fruity hop flavours - lemon, melon, and grapefruit leading the charge. As others have noted, there is Belgian yeast and a touch of banana setting off the hoppy tastes. Hints of spice and pepper touch up the taste profile as well. Very nice!

Hazy yellow-orange, almost no head. The aroma is fresh lemon, the taste is a bit funky. The finish is bit too bitter l, too much grapefruit.

2015/07/18 - Pours a cloudy orange-amber colour with a thick, rocky, white head that slowly reduces. Aroma is Belgian yeast, citrus, stone fruit, coriander, grassy hops, banana esters and just a hint of barnyard. Taste is citrus, yeast, coriander, mild banana and grassy hops. Mouthfeel is medium, with average carbonation and a bitter, drying finish. A little different, but still pretty good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750 ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a golden orange colour with a nice thick foamy white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is citrus, some coriander, hops hops hops!. Taste is same. Some carbonation in mouth. Decent beer.

Bottle from the LCBO. Hazy orange amber with a large fluffy white head that hangs around and leaves some patchy lace. Yeast is dominant over some pine, peach a bit of bubblegum along with pepper and light floral notes. Light sweet honey with a moderate bitterness and a light spice and floral notes that extend through the finish. Medium almost creamy mouth with average carbonation. Very little is typical about this, yet for me it works.

Pours a foggy honey with faint green hues. Quick dissipating white foamy head. Nose of soap, peach, pine, gum, lemon, grass... very attractive. Not too much booze in the aroma. Mouthfeel is substantial for a Canadian IIPA. It’s actually quite sweet. Ginger Ale. Butter Tarts, Bubble gum. Dill, and brine in some gulps. A little sticky in the finish. Overall this is really good stuff, and a bargain right now ($5.60/750ml).

Sweet, soapy hops, lots of grass, musty hops, cheap pale malts. has hints of tropical fruit, and yeasty esters, light to medium bitterness. Meh.

On Tap @ the Bent Elbow. Taps a clouded deep gold with a moderate off-white puffy cap. Don’t know how or why but the aroma on this is like an intense Hopfenweiss (believe me, I had several second opinions to confirm my disbelief) all that was missing was the cloves, bubble gum in a DIPA? Strangely, it works! The flavour was somewhat of a letdown after the great aromas – lots of sweet malt and fair balance from resinous hopping – but it goes to a long wet finish – what a mutant! OK, no off tastes but what is it?

Bottle from the LCBO (I vowed to never drink again this morning after burning through the tap list at The Only Cafe last night but Mrs Tiki brought this in the house today & I’m freshly off the wagon). Pours pumpkin skin yellow with a great slab of foam on the surface (see HippyHop’s review below for a more muscular deScription). This is a great little Belgian IPA & it appears by my score that I like it better than most people do. Belgian yeast without falling into the too sweet trap meet fresh & abundant hops. Crisp finish, minimal bitterness. Recommended.
