12 ounce bottle from a Farm Fresh somewhere in Virginia Beach, VA. Pours an orange-copper color with tiny floating particles. Small head with fair head retention and lacing. Sweet malty aroma with caramel and apple-like fruit notes. Taste is green apple, pear, caramel, butter. Thin and watery.

I’d say this is definitely better than its been rated. Thanks for the bottle, Ron. Sweet and spicy nose. A bit like a saison. Mouthfeel is delicate, a bit sour, a little malty, but nice.

Pours a clear bronze color with a white, marshmallow like head. Floral scent of mixed fruit and apple. A semi-sweet flavor with a thin palate. Overall a little too sweet without sufficient balance.

Bottled. Pours a copper color. Slightly sweet malty aroma. Some fruity qualities. Light toasted malty flavor. A hint of sweetness along with a somewhat bitter finish.

hayduke (3473) - Eureka, California, USA - MAR 23, 2009
From a six pack costing $7.99 in Clarkston, WA this poured a clear copper with a nice white head and good lacing. Appearance is this beers strong point because the nose is mild and of light malts and some grassy hops, the mouthfeel is medium, and the flavor is light bitterness with malts dominating. Not much in the finish. Drinkable but not very satisfying.

Poured from a 355 ml. bottle with no noticeable date or lot number printed on the bottle or label. I sampled it in January 2009. It pours a handsome copper with good clarity. There isn’t much in the way of off-white head or lacing but it has some of that. The aroma is of roasted malts and is tempting. The mouthfeel is kind oif a honey-like texture but the flavor is nowhere near that. The flavor is sort of a malty-bitter. Overall I thought it was fairly decent.

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2008 I like the Wingwalker labels, and the pour has a nice look to it also. This beer is pretty average, however. It has a macro aroma, and is a little too sugary. It could use some more interesting hops, but the flavor is still balanced. Drinkable, but nothing special.

Dark tan, a bit hazy, with a smallish white head. Nose is of honey and cereal. Flavor has a smallish shot of citric hops, and a nice bit of honey. Surprisingly well-crafted product from a big regional brewer.

Unfortunately had to drink straight from the bottle. Slight malty aroma (for what I could get anyway) and a malty taste with a mouthfeel that lingered a bit like cream.
