3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bought at Albertsons in Keizer.
Quite nice in appearance, amber with a largish off white head.
Again not great in the aroma department, but not unpleasant either.Mostly slightly toasted malts, smal hint of grassy hop, but its fleeting.
Quite a good taste for an amber of course its malt dominated and slightly sweet, a bit of brown sugar sweetness, has a hint spice and of bittering hops mostly in the long lasting after taste.
Pretty much average mouthfeel.
Actually for what I assume is a contract brew not too shabby, lightweight to be sure but a nice simple warm weather amber.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
First off this is a "Marzen style" Ale... which means it’s not a "Märzen" (lager) but an "Amber Ale". (In fact, it rather sucks as a Märzen, but is almost acceptable as an Amber.)
Pours a bright copper color with a foamy white head that settles scummy. Nutty aroma with mild adjuncts and a hint of soapy florals. Cloying sugars are a syrupy cover to a body of light roasted malts with a floral essence that lingers like a Violet candy.

2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light malty aroma. Light amber color. Nice whitish head. Starts with malt, continues with malt, and finishes with malt. There is some hop in the finish somewhere, but seriously this is a malty ale. Not sure that the bitter lasts, but it’s arguable. Prefer the IPA.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle Pours a clear...well...amber I guess. Small slowly dissipating of white head. Sweet slightly toasted malty aroma. Flavor is typical sweet malts, some hops here and a lingering biotterness. Papery and bland. Is this "Flight 1" because it is first alphebeticaly or because it is their best offering....hopefully the former.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle: Amber color not much of a head. Aroma is kind of bland - you know its beer, but nothing stands out, except, perhaps, glue sitcks. The taste is a weird sweetness that makes you wish macro brewers wouldn’t try to trick micro fans into buying their crappy beer made to cater to the step above Milwaukee’s Best crowd.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber color, thin head, no lacing. Nose of light malts, undescript typical hops. Nothing good. The flavor is average, light and thin. Pale ale was the best in this lineup. The finish is lotiony, mouthfeel is horrible. Offensive with its overbearing mediocrity.
