3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a light orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of peaches and grapefruit, as well as light notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet malty with lots of fruit - somewhat fruit punchy, leading to a slightly bitter end.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Light evergreen/citrus aroma. Nice amber color, but the thinnest head possible. Starts with some pine, but malt immediately arrives. The good news is that a citrus hop finish is there. There is malt along with the citrus, but it’s a very good finish. It’s a very good pale ale, and it verges on IPA hoppiness. I understand the comments about brown sugar and honey, but in my mouth they flow away quickly. So it’s dry/astingent. This is really good pale ale. Really. Good.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Albertson’s in Tehachapi, CA. Pours a slightly hazed golden-amber color with a medium thin ivory head that dissipates fairly quickly. Spotty lacing. The aroma is mildly malty with some hops and caramel. Medium-bodied with fruity hops and sweet caramel flavors. The finish is dry with a slightly floral hops aftertaste. Barely average overall.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazier and deeper orange than the winter ale, a little more malt, and more resinous citrus-hop character.
