lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Jun 10, 2008 pours a somewhat cloudy dark orange with a 11/2 finger fluffy off white head. aroma is caramel malt and hops with orange peel and citrus. has a light to medium body with descent lacing and carbonation. flavor is the same as aroma with some grain and pine. has a small dry hop aftertaste and everything sits on the tongue for a bit. its descent, especially for the price $6 a six pack, a good beginner or session apa. needs either a little less caramel malt for the hops to show through more, or a little more hops to off set the caramel malt.
crazyvin (1094), New York, USA Sep 15, 2008 Amber body, with a thin white head. It looked flat and the lack of carbonation proved it Nice citrus and pine notes, smooth sweet finish. Slipstream (400), USA Sep 3, 2008 A dark amber, foamy pour. Citrus, flowers, and hops in the aroma. It is mildly sweet and malty, but well-hopped. Overall, a nice pale ale and the best of the 3 Wingwalkers that I tried. dm9831 (620), Monee, Illinois, USA Mar 17, 2008 pours cloudy dark amber, mdium off white head. aroma of citrus and hops. hoppy, grapefruit (and other citrus) flavor plus a trace of sweetness. nedium bodied, bitter finish. enjoyable brew, if not overly complex. very sessionable ale. but i only have one. Fantomasus (122), USA Mar 14, 2008 Amber with a flimsy white head. I seem to like this beer better than most of the reviews I read. I found it smooth and highly drinkable. Light aroma of malt, hops, with some citrus, and spice.
