3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
[on tap at Ouzeri] Dark yellow that’s hazy and not cloudy with a medium thick head that lasts for a very long time and forms lace on the sides of the glass. The aroma is not too strong but it’s lemony citrus with a little corriander and very faint clove and hop notes. Interestingly, the clove comes out right away in the flavour, followed by sourness from the wheat malt and then some banana and malt sweetness at the end. Also detected a corn flavour. This beer was kind of neat how the sweetness and flavours lingered a bit at the end. No bitterness. Moderate carbonation (not enough for this type of beer) and light body, but I would have liked it to be lighter.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
341ml bottle (Thanks Sammy). A pleasing looking witbier..pale, clouded, sparkling natural carbonation from bottle conditioning....nice fluffy white cap....odors of corriander and musty grains, slightly sour . Starts sparkling and a bit peppery..spicey-citrus taste blends with tart drying in the clean finish from wheat and hops. I really have nothing to compare this Canadian made wit with except my experience with Celis and Hoegaarden.....it certainly has all the character of the style but is a tad weak in the body and strangely, not as refreshing...still a good offering of the wit style fron a PQ brewer.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
probably better on tap, however a fresh bottle is reviewed here. Much in carbonation and while not watery, was thin and little creamy. Tasted the lime citrus and some spice

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Despite the description, I purchased a big 500ml bottle of this in a typical Montreal corner store. Hazy yellow pour, small fluffy white head. Some lemon in aroma, lots more in taste. Very crisp and carbonated mouthfeel. Back of your throat shop bite that works well with the crispness. Also watered down and thin. Cold, this beer was quite nice, as it warmed, it became a very bland and uninspiring liquid, so overall, I’d have to say average at best.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Obtained from Depanne Plus in Gatineau. Aroma is kind of strange for a wit...seems to have some dried fruit. Hazy yellowish colour and not much of a head. Lively carbonation, watery, bland. This was a bit of a miss for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma is wheat and corriander, cloudy yellow, a good sized white head. Wheat, yeast and corriander taste is very nice in this one. Light bodied, refreshing. Quite a pleasant version.
Thank You joey_capps.

Pale yellow w/ slight haze. Fizzy white head w/ large bead. Some yeastiness & spiciness on the nose. Slightly grainy, moderately soft feel. Yeasty, mineral water flavour. Mildly peppery finish. Relatively bland.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: AUG 1, 2008 Hazy pale yellow colour with a frothy white head. Banana and bubblegum aroma, with the bubblegum interfering a bit too much with the banana and clove flavours. Light and refreshing.
