COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong beer in the Scottish tradition with the mysterious taste of caramelized malt. MONSTER NOT INCLUDED! Bottle refermentation imparts a yeast-enriched flavour.

Good beer, it’s like a lighter version of the Trois-Pistoles by Unibroue. Dark coat, hoppy nose (but less fruity element than TP and more grass) and a creamy texture. It’s one of the first beers I ever reviewed back when I started tasting beer back in ’09.

Aroma of malt with a reddish brown colour and a lasting off white head. Taste of malt watery feel with a weak malt palate.

Black cherry color with a yeasty aroma. Malt and hops clash on the tongue and the hops lingers long after is pleasant.

Good scotch ale, but I wished it had a higher ABV. Lighter color than I expected, little aroma, but a good scotch taste.

341ml bottle. Pours a clear reddish amber with a walnut coloured head. Aroma has heavy mineral notes, earthy dried fruit, iodine, and dark sugars. The taste has brown sugar, dried fruit, mineral and light earthy notes up front that lead into rye bread, burnt sugar, citrus, and light molasses in the finish.
