HogTownHarry (3922), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada Feb 3, 2006 Bottle (660ml). Shared with blankboy, his bottle. Poured murky orange-amber with a very large foamy white head and solid drapes of lacing - a veritable fuzz farm at the bottom of the bottle. Aroma of sharp belgian wit - ashy hops, tartly of lemon, orange and banana fruit esters, some alcohol and yeast, extremely dry and a bit metallic. Taste is very fruit-tart - cranberry, red current, lemon juice, mild spices, sweet malt and somewhat funkily yeasty - really quite tart indeed! Mouthfeel slightly acidic, pretty flat, thick and juicy. Great summer thirst quencher! (bottom half of the bottle pours like pink grapefruit juice, even the head turned pink) rederic (1787), montréal, Quebec, Canada Jan 31, 2006 Hazy orange-reddish hue, with a frothy white head, with a nose offering a nice spicy bouquet of cinnamon, ginger and coriander, with a citrus fruity accent of tangerines and manderines and being accompanied by some sour notes from the cranberry juice added, and with a yeasty touch in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a beautiful acidity and a nice sourness from the cranberry juice aspect of the fruit himself, leading dawn his spicy touch of ginger, coriander, even with note of cinnamon, good tartness aspect remembering me of a lambic, with a yeasty character, leading towards a semi-tart and slightly hoppy finish. unibrouefan (124), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada Jan 19, 2006 The aroma give some spicy and sugar nose. However, the degustation give a spicy palate. Not a bad beer, good as a meal accompaniment. Quevillon (1518), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada Jan 16, 2006 Updated: Aug 9, 2007Bouteille de 660 ml.
