Rich malt nose with raisins and roast malts, touch of alchohol, and a bit vegetal. Mostly clear deep amber brown with small off-white head. Malty molasses and dark fruits with some nuttiness. Medium body with clean slightly bitter finish

Tap @ TacoMac, crapapple. pours medium brown, no head. Aroma of sweet toffee, caramel, and toasted grain. Beautiful toasted flavor. rich malt. fllavor notes of chocolate. nice hop balance. Bitter enough to enjoy, just right to accentuate the malts. Another very nice offering from my neighbors in SC. cheers

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
a good looking murky brown color under a small off-white head. aroma is little weak but has some nutty, brown sugar notes. flavor is nutty, caramel, hint of coffee. tastes good...not too hoppy, good brown ale flavors...just not robust enough.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A gift brought from Green’s in Greenville. I was excited by the lack of familiarity. Ooh. Something new. But the first smell. I knew I wouldn’t like it. Bit of Coors mixed with who knows what. Not a brown. Not English. Basic American lager. Too bad.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle; poured an orange tinted brown, with a fairly large light brown head. Aroma of nuts, caramel, vanilla and apples, A bit strange, but ok. Flavor was solid for the style; blend of nuts, caramel and chocolate. Slight bitter finish. Average for the style.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
The aroma is chocolaty with toffee and roasted malt. The appearance is light brown with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma and slightly tart. The palate is thin. Overall I like it but it’s nothing out of the ordinary.

Brown in color, average in taste. Really didn’t have an aftertaste. Average just really covers this one well. Not bad. Not great.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Pours brown, clear, with small white head. Aroma is nutty, chocolate, some coffee. Flavor is mixed malts, with chocolate, roasted malt, some caramel, mildly sweet. A bit thin in flavor, but I think this beer is clearly underrated.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Appears a semi-transparent amber toned dark brown with a small, off-white head that quickly fades away.
Smell is of sweet brown sugar, toasted nuts, vanilla, and cream.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a sweet, roasted nut, and sugary caramel malt flavor standing out.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, nutty, caramel, smooth...perhaps a bit under-attenuated, as residual sweetness seems to be bordering on cloyingly sweet.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The aroma had a fruity chocolate and light bit of a roasty component. It was bready and bicuity with an earthy nature and some moderate caramel presence. The beer arrived lightly hazy brown, like dark tea, with a beige low lasting head which laced the glass. The flavor was fruity and contained a strong citrusy hop flavor and some caramel. The citrus was orange and the bittering was medium. The flavor was toasty and lightly bready with a mineral component. The body was medium with moderate carboantion and a bit of a creamy nature. An ok brown ale.
